About Webcam Test — Check Your Camera
Quickly check that your webcam works. Grant camera access and you'll see a live preview along with the camera's resolution, frame rate and name. If you have more than one camera, switch between them, and take a snapshot to save as a PNG.
Nothing is recorded or uploaded — the preview runs entirely in your browser and the camera is released as soon as you stop or leave the page. It's the fast way to test a webcam before a call or when troubleshooting.

Frequently asked questions
Is my camera feed recorded or uploaded?
No. The preview is shown only in your browser and nothing is recorded or sent anywhere. The camera is released when you stop the test.
Why does it ask for permission?
Browsers require your explicit permission to access a camera. Click Allow; you can revoke it any time from the site settings.
Can I switch between cameras?
Yes. If you have multiple cameras, a selector lets you pick which one to preview.
It says the camera is in use — what now?
Another app or tab is using the camera. Close it (e.g. a video-call app) and start the test again.
